Day 1
The wonderful hilly kingdom comes into view as the aircraft near Bhutan. Undulating hills of the country become visible as the aircraft comes nearer to earth and descends onto Bhutan's only airstrip at Paro. The picturesque valley with its rich terraced farmland, is home to some of the Bhutan's ancient temples and monasteries. On arrival you will be met by our representative who would escort you to your hotel.

Day 2
You would go to visit various places in what can be called the most uncommon city in the world. Thimphu is the driving seat of government, religion and commerce in Bhutan. Located on the banks of Thimpu river, the town is located in a valley which is also called Thimphu.

Tour Tashichho Dzong, the building which houses the throne room of the Bhutan monarch. Next to the Dzong is located the only golf course of Bhutan, a nine hole circuit. The Thangka painting school in the heart of Thimphu is also a place one should not miss. National Liberary, Traditional Medicine institute and the Handicraft Emporium would also be visited.
Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 3
We would leave Thimphu for Paro, another beautiful city and valley. Enroute we would travel to the 17th Century Simtokha Dzong on a lofty ridge, erected in 1627. The Dzong is the oldest in the land, housing the school for Buddhist studies. Few miles off Paro town on south side of the valley are the burned remnants of Drugyel Dzong literally translated as the fortress of victory. The Bhutanese used this monastery to repel several marauding Tibetan armies during the 17th century.
Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 4
We would tour the perfectly symmetical Rinpung Dzong, constructed in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngwang Namgyal, the first spiritual and temporal Bhutanese monarch. Also visit the Ta Dzong, which is a castle-shaped watch tower built with the motive of defending Rinpung Dzong during inter-valley wars of the 17th Century.

In later part of the day we would go on an excursion tour of Taktsang monastry "Tiger's Nest". It is located on the cliff-side overlooking the valley.
Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 5
You would be escorted from your hotel to airport to connect your onward destination flight.
