Discover Bhutan Tour

Don't be duped by the small size of Bhutan. The tiny Himalayan kingdom is recognised as one of the global endemic bird areas, recording approximate 770 species of birds. Some of the Himalaya's untrampelled tropical forests provide shelter to hundreds of variety of birds.

Bhutan has wide difference of altitude, ranging from 200m in the south to more than 7000m in the north. Add to this vast forest cover, moist climate, low population density and the government's environment conservation policy. The result is highly favorable environment for the birds. In Bhutan, one does not have to search for a national park or reserve area. Even while walking in a farm or trekking, exciting avian creatures can be seen.

Best Time to Visit : Between October to April.

Note : Bird sightings depends on season, timing, and patience.
