Visa is required for travelling into Bhutan.No foreign
missions grants Bhutan Tourist Visa.
All information as mention in the visa form should be forwarded to us
atleast three weeks prior to date of travel to process it with concerned
authorities. Alternatively the copy of the
visa
form can be filled up by the tourist and faxed to us to arrange for
visa.
Actual visa is stamped on arrival in Bhutan while it is cleared in advance
and a visa clearance number is issued.For all travellers,entering Bhutan by
Druk Air,the visa clearance number if forwarded to concerned overseas Druk
Air stations and with the same passengers are not allowed to board the
flight.
For all travellers,entering Bhutan by surface through Phuntsholing ( the
border town in south of Bhutan ), the visa is stamped on arrival and
clearance number if forwarded to Foreign Ministry;s Office at Phuntsholing
for reference.
Two copies of original passaport size photographs are required on
arrival.The visa fee is USD 20 per person for 14 days which can be further
extended with an additional fee of USD 15.
